Screened Program

Acceptance into our middle school screened program is based on students' academic records in 4th grade.  Students accepted into this honors program take accelerated courses that prepare them for HS Regents at the end of 8th grade.  Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to enter HS having already acquired credit for HS level courses and Regents exams.  Students in our screened program also have an opportunity to take a variety of enrichment courses during the school day.  These courses are offered in core content areas as well as the arts.
